About OnPoint Pro Doors in Grand Junction
We repair and install garage doors across the Grand Junction Metro. The visit to look at your door is free, the estimate is written, and nothing gets done until you have seen it.
How we work
- Diagnosis comes first. A door that will not open has a handful of likely causes, and which one it is changes the job completely. We look before we quote.
- The estimate is written and given in person. No numbers over the phone, because a number given before anyone has seen the door is a guess.
- You decide after. There is no charge for the visit and no obligation to book the work.
Local rules
Colorado has no state credential for garage door work, so the local position is what matters. Building permits and contractor licensing for the Grand Junction area are administered through the Mesa County Building Department. A straight door-for-door replacement in an existing opening generally does not need a permit; changing the opening, the header, structural work or a new opener circuit does. Fruita and Palisade are separate municipalities, Clifton, Appleton, Pear Park, Whitewater, Loma and Mack are unincorporated county, and south past Whitewater is Delta County entirely.
